Founded by Will Martinez on the principles of Craftsmanship, Accountability, and Quality above all else, Martinez Construction Management is a full-service construction management and general contracting firm in New York’s luxury residential market.

Constructing your own home can be an exciting experience, and we believe it should be achieved with the utmost care and attention to detail. Collaboration is the key to success and is what allows us to coordinate every element, from the millwork layout to the slotted screws on a hinge. Each project is initiated with a kickoff meeting, and then communication is maintained throughout the process. We value our clients’ trust and provide an accurate representation of needs and  transparent documentation as we guide the project from its infancy to completion.

Bringing over 15 years of experience, Founder Will Martinez is  intimately involved with operations, liaising between the design team and the construction team. His dedication and collaborative approach allow MCM to maintain the precision and quality that our clients deserve.

Our Approach

Martinez Construction Management’s proven process is based upon three key elements: transparency, accountability, and collaboration. Every project starts with a meticulously crafted proposal and construction schedule, which acts as a master guide for execution. Prior to demolition, there is a kickoff meeting that organizes and sets the tone by outlining the milestones of our construction schedule and how the construction process will proceed. 

A key ingredient to each successful build is weekly collaboration meetings. They provide a high level of transparency and create a flow that guarantees adherence to our set milestones and schedules. As part of our quality control process, there are inspections at key checkpoints. This further drives the team’s accountability and aids in highlighting any obstacles, allowing the design team the time to provide creative solutions.

Our construction team’s effective use of software is another important element of our tool belt, allowing for collaborations between the various project teams. The use of this technology is paramount to organizing, prioritizing, and delivering work. It also enables us to increase the efficiency of punch list tracking and execution so that items are completed on the first attempt.

Leadership

Will Martinez began his career in high-end construction in 2006 at Interior Management, LLC. He honed his skills starting with smaller renovations and eventually managed some of the largest projects in the firm’s history, including a townhome excavation and new construction of a private residence in Eastern Long Island.

After becoming a Managing Member of Interior Management, Will administered projects at some of the most prestigious buildings in Manhattan. He also led the firm’s estimating process, which enhanced his knowledge of construction practices.

In 2021, Will created Martinez Construction Management with the desire to build a boutique construction firm dedicated to the highest caliber of craftsmanship. In addition to his drive for excellence and belief that every service should be delivered without flaw, Will brings a commitment to trustworthiness and accountability. With an unparalleled focus on strong client relations, budget transparency, and superior quality, MCM raises the bar for what is possible.
